The Bioscape Tropic Easy Start Gravel Cleaners are designed to make routine aquarium maintenance quick and efficient. Each cleaner features a rigid intake tube for precise substrate cleaning, a flexible siphon hose for smooth water flow, and a secure bucket clip for hands-free operation. Available in a full range of sizes to suit nano tanks through to large aquariums.
How to Use
- Place an empty bucket lower than the aquarium
- Attach the hose securely to the rigid tube
- Submerge the rigid tube fully into the aquarium
- Move the tube up and down rapidly to start the siphon
- Direct the flow into the bucket and use the bucket clip to hold the hose in place
- Vacuum gravel by gently pressing the tube into the substrate, letting debris rise and fall back as gravel drops
- Repeat until 25-30% of the aquarium water has been removed
Safety & Care
- Always unplug electrical equipment before performing maintenance
- Never use detergents or household cleaners in your aquarium
- Ensure siphon action is stopped before removing the tube from the tank
- Dispose of aquarium water responsibly - do not pour into sinks used for food preparation
