Hikari Algae Wafers 1kg
My big gibbes, bristlenoses, corys all gobble these wafers up - it is great to be able to throw in a big handful from the 1kg packet. They love it, so it does not remain for long, but I have noticed that it does not cloud the water nor dissolve to mush. The big bag of Hikari algae wafers makes economic and practical sense if you have a lot of vege eating catfish. I also have some yo yo loaches and they enjoy it too sometimes. It sinks to the bottom of the tank really quickly, so the fish can start eating straight away. Whilst I also feed lots of boiled pumpkin, zucchini and broccoli stalks, raw prawns, the Hikari algae wafers are really convenient if I am rushed for cooking time, or someone else is feeding the fish when I am away..
